The same day I uninstalled IE8 because it wasn't displaying pages correctly Zone Alarm Firewall popped up an alert stateing IE was trying to access the internet - after I uninstalled it. I hit the deny button, but needless to say, I'm a little confused here. I'm running Windows XP SP3 on an HP Pavilion d4100e with Avira & ZA anti-virus suites & Windows Defender (they all seem to get along OK) & I run daily anti-virus scans. I uninstalled IE8 using "Add/Remove Windows Components" in the "Add/Remove Programs" feature of Control Panel. Does anyone out there have a clue? I'm posting this before trying my own Google search.

Please go to the VistaHelp web forum to ask questions.http://www.vistahelp.ca/phpBB2/In general I recommend installing a 64 bit version of Vista. I explained all this in the blog. There may be specific reasons why you wouldn’t want to install a 64 bit OS. I would need more information to make a specific recommendation. The web forum is better suited to this type of back and forth conversation.Thanks.

I am about to replace my motherboard. I have a copy of Vista 64 bit but am unsure if it is wise to install it.I have:q6600 processor(new motherboard is 64bit ready)9600gt graphics2GB ramWill some software/hardware stop working if i install 64bit OS?Do i need more ram?I am a novice.

MP3 downloads render full size album covers on WMP visualizations. Ripping from my albums doesn’t. How do I get full size cover visualizations from my albums? Windows Vista.
